Eco-1 were employed to provide the complete electrical installation to the new Bear Grylls adventure at the NEC in Birmingham.
The development was split over 2 levels and consisted of a main attraction area incorporating an assault course, boulder climb, shooting and archery range, face your fears featuring a dive experience with sharks, indoor sky diving facility and external high ropes course, a retail shop, restaurant, staff offices and welfare.
Eco-1 scope was to supply, install, test and commission the following:
• HV transformers and private HV network
• New LV intake panel – main project
• New LV intake panel – IFLY works incorporating harmonic filters and VSD / IFLY equipment
• New LV distribution system including earthing & bonding
• New containment systems
• New LV small power systems
• Mechanical power supplies
• New mains lighting system
• New external lighting system
• New emergency lighting system
• Lightning protection system
• New IT Cat 6 cabling system
• New fire alarm system incorporating VESDA systems
• New PA system
• New CCTV system
• New access control system
• New intruder detection alarm system
• New disabled assistance alarm and refuge stations
• IFLY control wiring
