Eco-1 were employed to provide the complete electrical installation to the new Lego Discovery Centre at the NIA in Birmingham.
The development was split over 3 levels and consisted of a main attraction area incorporating 3 rides, 10 Lego build and play zones, 4D cinema and soft play area, a retail shop, staff offices and welfare.
Eco-1 scope was to supply, install, test & commission the following:
• New LV intake panel
• New LV distribution system including earthing & bonding
• New containment systems
• New LV small power systems
• Mechanical power supplies
• New mains lighting systems
• New emergency lighting systems
• New IT Cat 6 cabling system
• New fire alarm system
• New PA system
• New CCTV system – wiring and containment
• New access control system – wiring and containment
• New intruder detection alarm system – wiring and containment
• New disabled assistance alarm
• 4D Cinema and Dark ride control wiring
