Eco-1 were responsible for the Electrical works of this huge 435,000 sq.ft warehouse/production unit which is actually equivalent to 5 and a half football pitches! We were also involved with the Base Build and the Fit Out of the additional works of an office within the unit. We installed a total of 640 warehouse lights.

We completed a full electrical engineering service which included fire alarm, lightning protection, internal & external lighting, installation of car chargers, wiring of external services to petrol interceptors, door access and CCTV containment.

We designed, supplied, installed, test and commissioned a complete system of emergency lighting throughout the facility.

Something we are proud to have achieved on this project was how we implemented the BIM model at the design stage. This has helped to achieve a more efficient programme delivery and has enabled the client to not only see visually where the electrical equipment and parts would be placed, it also provides the client with a virtual manual. Even once the building is fully operational, the client can gain access to part numbers and have access to the replacement of parts and maintenance.

Environmentally, this project has the potential to generate an impressive 1.472MW of energy, as we installed a total of 4447 PV Panels which is a great achievement. We are also proud to have delivered the project on time and within budget for the client.
