Eco-1 is thrilled to have provided a full electrical installation on this impressive project known as “the building that will house the world”.

The Personal Environment Activity Research laboratory is a unique, purpose-built facility in a full-size capacity. We are proud to have been involved in providing and installing 2070 of PV Panels which powers the whole building, making it UCL’s first net zero carbon building!

Eco-1’s role consisted of lighting power, HV, LV, data, PA, security and PV. We also assisted with the design of specialist lighting to recreate any type of sky climate.

At 43,055 sq ft, this facility will enable researchers, to carry out their tests and research in full size environments to find out how people use infrastructure in cities.
