The project entailed splitting up 1 large open plan office into 3 smaller tenanted offices.

The original lighting was uplighters fed via under floor busbar and controlled via an outdated lighting control system. No ceiling mounted lights existed.

Each new tenant area required a new submain installing and metering separately.

All lighting and small power had to be fed from the new distribution system. New 600 x 600 modular fittings were installed in the existing lighting, which originally was not designed to cater for lighting.

The underfloor busbar was stripped back to ensure this did not overlap into another tenant’s area.

New floor mounted cleaners’ sockets were installed.

Fire alarm alterations were carried out on an outdated fire alarm system, to ensure it complied with new office layout.

Sprinkler modifications were carried out to suit the new layout.

2 No. new doors were installed to segregate tenanted areas. These required new door access to be integrated into the fire alarm system,

New floor boxes and data infrastructure were installed for a specific tenant.
